Tulameen and Otter Lake are located at some 2700 feet above sea level and nestled in the Eastern side of the Coastal Mountain range, just 23km northwest of Princeton and some 70km south of Merritt in the Southern Okanagan - Similkameen region of British Columbia.
Getting to the Alder is easy. From Vancouver, take the Trans Canada Highway to Hope From Hope, take the No.3 Highway (the Crow's Nest), through scenic Manning Park to Princeton. Once in Princeton, follow Bridge Street through town and across the river on the old one-way wooden bridge. Turn left and follow the signs to Tulameen. The town of Tulameen is located some 25 minutes from Princeton. Make sure you turn right at the stop sign at Coalmont and drive past the old Coalmont Hotel! Once you come to the Tulameen General Store, stay on the main road going north through town, then left along the west side of the lake.
Just out of town, on your right is the Alder at Otter Lake. The address is #169-8th street, Tulameen. Google Maps recognizes this address, so most portable and built-in car GPS units should also.
