Miles of trails are available for any skill level, from flat, easy to access roadways and trails, to more challenging mountainous riding, there is something for everyone!

One of the more popular trails within easy access to The Alder and Tulameen is the Trans Canada Trail (Kettle Valley Railway. This shared-use recreation area spans all the way across Canada, passing through every single province as it heads towards the Pacific or the Atlantic. Though you may not be able to do the entire trail in a day, the area provides some great pathways for biking in the local area taking you past several historical memories of the days of fur traders, miners and prospectors. The trail follows the Kettle Valley Railway line past Otter Lake on its way from Princeton to Merritt.

Two bikes are provided at the Alder cabin. A reminder that the wearing of helmets is mandatory in British Columbia.
